Antique Art Nouveau brooch from the early 20th century. Circular openwork piece in gilt metal with an asymmetrical design of a five-petaled flower with curved petals. In the center, a faceted red crystal stone.
The outline features plant-inspired volutes, typical of the decorative language of the modernist movement.
Probably produced between 1900 and 1910 in Europe, this type of brooch was common as an ornament for collars or lapels, and is highly sought after today by both collectors and vintage fashion lovers.
