Gilded metal Geneva tourist souvenir brooch, oval in shape and decorated with a polychrome scene labeled GENÈVE, featuring an urban and lake view of the city. It retains its original pin and simple clasp, with wear and superficial oxidation consistent with its age.
The piece belongs to the tradition of European tourist souvenirs with urban views produced during the 20th century. Based on its construction and finish, it is prudent to date it between ca. 1940–1955.
