Antique Victorian brooch featuring a black and white photographic portrait on a decorated oval mount. The metal frame has a curved openwork design with small star-shaped appliqués. It fastens with a long pin and C-shaped clasp, characteristic of pieces from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This mourning or memorial brooch is representative of the Victorian and Edwardian eras and retains the patina and signs of wear typical of its age.
