A Victorian religious pendant in sterling silver depicting a dove of the Holy Spirit, adorned with hand-set, period-style white diamond-like stones. This French devotional piece dates from approximately 1880-1890 and maintains the typical Christian symbolism of the 19th century with great formal purity. The back of the pendant is solid and understated, while the front is set with stones of varying sizes that retain their original brilliance, one of which has a golden patina from age. It comes with a fine, original antique silver chain with a spring ring clasp, also in silver. A unique and historic piece, ideal as a symbolic gift or a collector's item of antique devotional jewelry.
