Antique crucifix made with a white mother-of-pearl cross upon which a silver figure of Christ is placed. The four ends are topped with pieces of molded and engraved silver featuring stylized plant motifs, while the small INRI plaque is preserved above Christ’s head. The combination of mother-of-pearl and silver creates a striking contrast between the clear, iridescent surface of the cross and the metallic elements.

The reverse reveals the construction of the piece, with the various silver elements mechanically attached to the mother-of-pearl. It retains an upper loop for use as a pendant. Based on its typology, materials, and ornamentation, it is a European devotional crucifix from the early 20th century, with Art Nouveau-influenced decoration.
