Magnificent rare and very original small bag or purse made of silver mesh with an exceptional lid that reflects the lines of French art nouveau highly decorated with flowers and birds. A great find. Pay attention to the details.

The origin of this technique was inspired by the meshes of the Celts, Romans or later the warriors of the Middle Ages. Starting in the mid-19th century, silversmiths began creating these mesh jewel bags for the upper classes. They were orders that required many hours of work, but with a guarantee of high resistance and durability.
This bag, despite the fragility it may convey, is a very robust bag.
