Also known as the Haab calendar, it is a system used by the ancient Mayan civilization to measure time and record astronomical events. Unlike the Gregorian calendar used today, the Mayan calendar is based on cycles and has different components.

The Haab calendar consists of 18 months of 20 days each, making a total of 360 days. Additionally, an additional month of only 5 days is added, known as Wayeb. In total, the Haab calendar has 365 days, very close to the solar year.
